Our April specialties
Three shows in one day. So many chances for a major!
WMYTC holds three Specialty Shows annually on the 14th Sunday, which is in April. In 2027 it is Sunday, April 11 at the Delta Hotel on Davidson Ave, Somerset, NJ.
- National Owner Handled Best of Breed at all three shows.
- Separate Bred-By-Exhibitor Puppy and Adult division classes! Your Bred-by Puppy can have all points from Bred-by classes for its AKC Bred-By Champion medallion. We also have a Best in Bred-By-Exhibitor award after Best of Breed at each show.
- Best Puppy In Show will be chosen at each of our three shows. First place class winners from each of the Puppy classes (6-9 Months, 9-12 Months and Bred-By-Exhibitor Puppy 6-12 months) will compete after Best of Breed, judged by the Regular Judge for that show. This competition replaces a puppy sweepstakes.
- One 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition! The Puppy of Achievement (POA) program gives your puppy its first experience in the dog show world, plus invaluable ring practice and socialization.
- Our beautiful pet-friendly hotel! A gorgeous event room with bright windows looking out to an outdoor patio at the Delta Hotel by Marriott, 110 Davidson Ave, Somerset, NJ.
